INTA Technologies manufactures a variety of critical assemblies for use in the medical field, from implantable devices to surgical tools. Specializing in the bonding of biocompatible ceramics and metals, to manufacture turnkey hermetic implantable devices, with final dimensional tolerances held to the ten-thousandths of an inch (±.0002"). Post-braze machining and processing is utilized which allows such tight tolerances to be held and ensure vacuum integrity.

Our experienced engineering staff has been manufacturing medical and implantable devices for many years. We possess a vast knowledge base of not only products and advanced materials, but precision manufacturing processes as well.

We have partnered with customers to improve the design and processes of such devices to help gain FDA approval for in-human testing and use. An example of this teamwork is illustrated on a cardio-vascular application that has helped transform a concept into a product, resulting in a device that is now in use in thousands of people all over the world.

INTA also manufactures insulated ceramic-to-metal components that are used in micro surgical tools to cut and seal tissue and veins in the human body. These tools help reduce recovery times and hospital stay durations by up to a week, by making the surgical procedure much less invasive.
