Yes, INTA frequently plates very small parts. Some parts are as thin as 0.005”
If a part is microscopic, it is too small for INTA to plate. Aspect ratio is important. If a part is very thin and long and made of a fragile material INTA may not wish to plate the item.

Plating thickness is not related to part size in most cases. Typical plating thicknesses range from .5 micron to 250 microns. The average plating thickness is about 2-5 microns but it really depends on many factors such as material, surface finish, application, use environment, etc.
